Barbara J. Boyd heads the firm’s Estates and Trusts department. Barbara brings her wealth of legal experience to provide top-tier legal advice, representing clients in estate administration and developing comprehensive estate plans for individuals of all asset levels. Barbara creates first party special needs trusts and third-party supplemental benefit trusts.

Barbara divides her professional time between the firm’s Princeton and Newtown offices to serve clients in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She has substantial experience litigating a wide range of estate/probate disputes. She is appointed by judges throughout New Jersey as court appointed attorney, guardian, special medical guardian and guardian ad litem for minors and alleged incapacitated individuals.

Barbara has dedicated her practice to helping clients steer their way through the legal system. She was an Adjunct Professor at Mercer County Community College where she taught Business Law and has served on the Board of Directors of Greenwood House in Ewing, NJ. Barbara volunteers leading a weekly reading group at a continuing care community in Newtown, PA. She frequently lectures on the importance of estate planning and helping to navigate the complex and often confusing process of estate administration.
