Melissa Nelson is an attorney in the Princeton, New Jersey office of Maselli, Mills & Fornal P.C., where she represents businesses, banks, financial institutions and individuals throughout New Jersey. Prior to joining Maselli, Mills & Fornal, Melissa worked at Essex Newark Legal Services where she assisted low income clients in family law matters including Divorce, Custody, Child Support, Domestic Violence and Relocation.
Melissa is a graduate of the University of Connecticut where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family Studies, and Pace University Elisabeth Haub School of Law where she graduated Cum Laude. Melissa is admitted to the New Jersey State Bar.
Melissa is an active runner and finished her first marathon in 2020. She enjoys watching sports, especially the New England Patriots, New York Islanders, and UConn Basketball, and will always find a way to spend time outside, whether she is walking her dog, Abbey, visiting a park, or taking in the scenery.
Melissa grew up in Nutley, New Jersey and is currently residing in Hillsborough, New Jersey.
